Hello . There are a few problems with favorites and removing flow canvas scripts.
1.If favorites enabled – I can not add variables, more details in the screenshot below.
2.All stars are reset in a few days (I can not yet determine at what point it happens)
3.when i remove a flow script controller or fsm owner component, error appear-
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
NodeCanvas.Editor.GraphOwnerInspector.OnDestroy () (at Assets/ParadoxNotion/CanvasCore/Framework/Design/Editor/Inspectors/GraphOwnerInspector.cs:42)
4 when add flow canvas asset in empty project error appear-
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
NodeCanvas.Editor.StyleSheet.get_canvasIcon () (at Assets/ParadoxNotion/CanvasCore/Framework/Design/PartialEditor/StyleSheet.cs:152)
NodeCanvas.Editor.GraphEditor.OnEnable () (at Assets/ParadoxNotion/CanvasCore/Framework/Design/Editor/Windows/GraphEditor.cs:162)
1. That was indeed a bug. I just fixed this and attached for you a fix unitypackage here.
2. Hmm. I can’t think of any reason for stars to be removed in days relation. The only reason stars could be removed (as far as I know) is if you changed the project name, since the favorites is stored in Unity EditorPrefs in a key name based off your project’s name.
3 & 4. I honestly dont get either of the two errors you see here :(. Hmm What Unity version exactly are you using?
2. Have a question for you.
for example, I have two projects (project A and project B) if I add a few stars in project A, then in project B they are also added in the same places automatically, and if I change the name of project A or B, the stars not disappear for several days, then disappear!(some kind of anomaly!)
3 & 4 this curse haunts me on unity 18.1 18.2
Canvas ver1.8.2 and higher. (do not worry about it, flow canvas 3.0 much more important)
Thanks for the follow up. The stars being deleted on their own after a few days, definetely sounds like a weird thing to happen :).
I will take a look at that and see what could potentially be going wrong with that.
Thank you!
