There seems to be a problem with macros in the current version of FlowCanvas (1.2.5). All new macros created in this version are called “Macro” (despite having different filenames), and only one of them can be accessed from the “add new node” menu. Old macros (created in previous versions) can be used normally, but adding new ones doesn’t work correctly, unless I’m missing something. Please help 🙂
Nothing has changes regarding macros 🙂
Filenames do not matter, but rather only the name of the Macro set in the inspector when it is selected is taken into account.
Please, select the macro file and change it’s name in the inspector.
Thank you, it turns out I’ve been missing something indeed. But I insist that it was different in a previous version (not sure if it was the last one), when the macro name defaulted to its filename entered when creating it.
Hey,
I think you are right.
I will make it that it’s name defaults to the file name upon creation for the next version. It’s more convenient in any case 🙂
Thanks.
We have another problem with a macro 🙁 The macro works properly the first time it’s called, but later the old values of a variable (from when it was called earlier) seem to persist in some places of the graph, instead of being updated to the new one. It even happens that there are several different values in several places, as you can see on the screenshot – the variable “Rest Proficiencies Points” is set to 79 in the top part of the screenshot, while later its values are 73, 61 and 65 in different places of the graph.
Edit: The problem seems to be fixed after installing the new version of FlowCanvas that was released today.
Hello,
Please let me know if the problem persists, and it’s possible at all, please send me a small reproduction project to check it out.
Thanks in advance.
